The University of Rhode Island is a public research university with its main campus in Kingston, Rhode Island. There are over 120 student organizations at URI, ranging from cycling and sailing to slam poetry and meditation. This provides students with a chance to explore their interests and meet new people.

Notable alumni include CNN’s Christiane Amanpour and John King, Tony Horton of P90X fame and NBA player Lamar Odom-Kardashian.
