The University of Washington (UW) is a top public research university located in Seattle, Washington and receives more federal research dollars than any other U.S. public university. The university has been home to 7 Nobel Prize winners, 17 MacArthur Fellows, and many other distinguished scholar. The university is located in an urban neighborhood just minutes from downtown and has also been named one of the most beautiful campuses in the country.
Washington offers a vibrant campus life with many opportunities for students to get involved in extracurricular activities, such as student organizations, athletics, and internships.
Notable alumni include actors Jean Smart and Anna Faris, Bruce Lee (yes, of Enter the Dragon fame) and elevator music legend Kenny G.
