Stanford University is a prestigious private research university located in Stanford, California. They don’t need to advertise and have no shortage of applicants. This goes in the ‘Dream School’ category. Many applicants with perfect SAT and 4.0+ and hundreds of hours of community service and can play four instruments and speak six languages don’t get in. That is why it is important to apply to a range of schools so you’re sure to have options. Here are some advantages of attending Stanford:

Stanford received 56,378 applications for admission to the Class of 2026 and admitted 2,075 students. If you can’t do the math don’t bother applying. The average SAT score for admitted students is between 1420-1570, and the average ACT score is between 31-35.
