The best time to think about your high school courses is before high school.  If you already have a interest, such as medicine, law, art or engineering then you have the makings of a plan.  If you're unsure (and most people are) then a variety of courses can help you find what interests you most.

 

Grade 8 is not too early to begin thinking about  your college journey.  What classes matter the most?  Which extracurriculars help you stand out?  Advanced Placement?  International Baccalaureate?  Sports? Music?  Community Service?
